Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter was an American actress who became famous in the film Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. Her film Piano won her an Oscar. The successful actress began her acting career in the theatre by performing in a myriad of Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. Since her childhood she's been passionate in the field of acting. She played Helen Keller as a fifth-grade student in a school play. The fifth grade was the year that after having mumps she lost her hearing in her left ear. But she didn't let that stop her. When she was a teenager She studied acting and then moved to New York City. Hunter was stuck in an elevator with the playwright Beth Henley when she met her. They collaborated to create Broadway Crimes of the Heart that marked the debut of Hunter on Broadway. As she settled in Los Angeles, she began to look for film roles. The role she was offered came in the role of an actress playing the lead character of Swing Shift. Her career spans more than thirty years and she's appeared in a variety of TV films as well as series and films. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame actor and was awarded the Women in Film Lucy Award.
